Good Wave

For the past few months, sports enthusiasts have been celebrating: you don't have to go far from São Paulo to stay in a luxurious hotel and surf some great waves. Opened in December in Porto Feliz, in São Paulo State, the Boa Vista Surf Lodge is the first hotel with a wave pool in Latin America. Managed by the Fasano Group, the hotel has an area of 86,110 ft2 (8,000 m2), which includes the 720 ft (220 m) American Wave Machines pool with PerfectSwell® technology, capable of reproducing over 100 different types of waves. And you don't even need to know how to balance on a board to be enchanted by the project: a strip of sand gives the place a beachy feel, resulting in a delightful environment. Tennis and beach tennis courts, a gym, and a spa complement the experience. To top it off, the décor was designed by Sig Bergamin and Murilo Lomas, while the cuisine, crafted by chef William Lima, offers an international menu with seafood, pasta, and grilled options for the whole family.
