Seeking a sound already affectionately nicknamed "pisa nova" by the artist in the album Mãeana canta JG, the artist removed the jazz influence embedded in bossa nova to bring João Gilberto's samba closer to bolero, while dissociating the beat of João Gomes' piseiro from electronic programming so that pisadinha finds the brush and the drum skin in a link strengthened by the artist's delicate singing.
